you always comment so fast, I love it!
I've been waiting for forEVER to see photos of your place!
and I absolutely lovelovelove it!!
and as always, I love all of your artwork. It's amazing..
good lucky in your gallery pursuits!!! (though, I know you won't need it!)
>>I made these guys with it, do you think people would buy these if I had a store full of them?!
Ha, I know... it took me long enough right?
We just barely bought furniture, and my drawing room has been a mess. I figured I should take pictures while it was clean for once!
And thanks so much!
Seriously, felting is so amazing. I think everyone should try it!
I'm just thinking now that I definitely need to figure out how to start making money with all this, hahah
Then I'll quit my job and just draw and felt all day, what a life!
Seriously, I was WAITING. haha. I'm such a nerd..
but I love seeing pictures of people's places -
and I knew yours would be great.
and felting, I've never even heard of it!
I should look it up and read something about it.
>>I'm just thinking now that I definitely need to figure out how to start making money with all this, hahah
Definitely, I don't blame you.
I think even opening up a little shop with several other artists would be amazing (and totally possible) and much easier in terms of funds, time, ect. But imagine a little shop showcasing 3-5 local artists work..and not just artwork, EVERYthing. I think you should definitely consider it and do some research into it.
I've been thinking lately, about taking advantage of the fact that I work for a newspaper in terms of advertising for myself. Advertising for what though? I don't know. Photography services, selling my photography/artwork/ect. I've just been procrastinating and I'm afraid to make any giant leaps. ;)
a store would be awesome.
things like felt animals, if I made enough of them (which... who knows really, haha) I could take them around to little shops that sell things for people? If I could just get one or two stores to pick them up?
i think you should definitely advertise your photography though, I mean... look at how many requests you get already- just from people you meet on the internet?!
Would you like photographing families for xmas and weddings and traditional type things? I think it could be really cool with your style.
I really think you should go for it!
Maybe try selling them through a website like Etsy first..
to see how much and what kind of response you get.
But then again, internet shoppers, and walk-around-downtown shoppers are sometimes 2 very different demographics.

See, I don't know. I think that's why I'm reluctant to to advertise for myself..I'm afraid of attracting "that audience" and I'm not sure if that's something I want to do. I'm such a typical snobby "artist" and only want to do what I want to do. ;)
wow. your place is so clean. damn, i suck.
it's just clean cause I spent a whole weekend cleaning before taking the pics. 30 minutes later it's a mess again- you should see our kitchen. haha
i really enjoy your artwork, i hope you don't mind if i add you.
thank you very much, of course I don't mind. =]
i love your place and desk
do you have a bigger picture of the collage you made
- the two close to you grandmas's mirror?
its look beautiful
thank you! I love your zebra socks!
i was planning on scanning those in
i'll do it and post them. =]
i looove your desk area. i was going to comment about the collages too--i'm excited to see them.
the mouse you made is adorable. i definitely think people would buy things like that. i was also going to suggest etsy or some sort of website, but sometimes shop owners will buy things like that and be able to sell them for more. good luck!
Yeah, I think i'm going to try etsy for sure. Just cause that'll be easiest at first.
And thank you, i love my desk area too!
I'm new, hope you don't mind that I added you...
I love your style.
Thanks so much, I don't mind at all.
