It's been 16 weeks since I updated this journal and people have been adding me everyday, weird! Here's something fun though - I made a 'How-to-make-a-square-bag' tutorial finally!!!
Directions To start you'll need 2 rectangles of fabric 34.5"x17.5" - one piece will be the outside body and the other will be the inside. Fold one side of the fabric in 12" - from the unfolded piece measure in 1" and cut the fabric away on each side (pictured below). This will be the flap of the bag.
Hola! I started my new job today and it's wonderful. I have an office with a door and yellow walls and a brand new Apple comp. I was an hour early 'cause it only took 20 min. to drive there, so I napped in my car and took photos of power lines with my new digital Christmas camera.

I finally finished making the notebook for all my insert pages. It took me soooo long, it's for a friend - his bday and congratulations on moving and good luck gift. He's a songwriter, and I wanted to make him something for keeping track of shows and lyrics... I went a little overboard! I can't wait to start the next one for my sister! It's going to be 3-ring binder size and I already made her a pencil case and matching business card holder for it! You can see that and more images of the organizer on flickr!
I bought tons of frames- stuck in my drawings and created an Etsy account for selling. I also started a Flickr account, cause that seems like the place to be these days.

For those of you on Flickr, is it worth it to have the paid account? I uploaded my pictures and hit the 200 limit pretty quickly. I can't decide if I need more than 200, that seems like enough? HAha. Anything else cool about the paid account? Their description on the subject isn't very detailed.
I wish it was Friday, Sunday nights are so depressing.

Idea came from DIY Planner which is unfortunately offline for the day, it's an amazing site with tons of cool links and templates. I've been wasting hours on the site for at least a year but never really used anything from it until today.
It's still in progress, but I'll make it available for download when it's complete- it's sized for 4x6 cards right now, that might change though. I'd really like to have a letter sized version. So far my favorite case for organizing is a 3-ring binder.
Hi. There was a little bug on sam's shoulder this afternoon, riding through the mountains on motorcycles.. it was holding on tight. it's little antennea where flapping backwards in the wind and everyonce in a while it's front legs would pop up and flail around.
Good news: Sam will be here and living with me on Saturday! I miss him like CRAZY:::::: I bought a Crayola Crayon Pad today at Micheals and it is fabulous and cheap. It's thick but not too thick- and it's this antique color that's just wonderful. Does anyone know of a good place to find a good and FUN planner/notebook? Online suggestions are good too!
Bad news: My car is dented, and I'm sleepy and not ready for work again tomorrow. I also have lots of emailing and lj'ing to catch up on and that's not going to happen for a few days at least. AND I got a stamp alphabet kit with scrabble letters but left it in my dad's suitcase, which is now three hours away. When I get it back from him I think I'll write a story with them about a firetruck.
